SRI's Micro Robots

The SRI Micro Robots were create by the SRI International. The SRI Micro Robots are tiny robots no bigger then a dime these tiny robots can be used for many purposes just like any other robots. These robots can create tools using curable liquid which hardens as it dries these robots can carry small amounts of it in order to create these tools. These robots may be able to create other robots they can repair one from the inside if instructed to. These robots are very small and yet they work almost like a 3D printer and even though they are very identical they are very different and it all depends on what you wanted then to so in order to get things done you'll need to create more then one all because every robots haves it own command and if one would have to do all the work it would take forever.

Drummers mechanical arm

In 2014, a Georgia Tech professor help a drummer who had his arm amputated get back to drumming by creating a mechanical arm that drums for him.Now they have created a arm that is 30% louder. An arm that knows what your playing, know here the drum is and it can be used for many proposes like help hand tools to the doctor. This tool can adapt to anything your doing playing drums grabbing things, it might even help you color in the lines.The robotic arm is controlled by the person that is wearing  the person is fully in control of the arm and the arm does that you tell it to.The arm might be better then a human drummer and the person should be wearing a EEG headband which should send signals to the arm retrieving patters.The EEG head band sends messages to the arm telling the arm what to do all you have to do is think of what you want the arm to do and it will do that.

A New Wireless Invention

Scientist at Duke university have in vented a brain-machine Interface(BMI) This invention can allow a monkey to move a wheel chair with its thoughts. Miguel Nicolelis  is the Scientist at duke that came up with this project. Now that the project have succeed after 10 years of attempts it can now be used for medical purposes. Such as disable patients who cant move their body are now able to move with their thoughts using their thoughts. In 2012 they when from straight lines to an even more difficult level, the BMI can transmit 1000 channels of data which made the BMI faster move in different directions and get you in better control. researchers are now able to decode neural signalsfor whole-body movements through 2-D space.Miguel Nicolelis believes that the projest can go on for decades, and he thinks that the project is ready for human trail.

Drones to the Rescue


    A group of Swiss researchers from the University of Zurich and NCCR Robotics has developed new software that is inserted inside small drones to preform search and rescue to find people who are lost in the wilderness all over the world. This is done so the drone can recognize the forest trail because all over the world hikers and other people who wonder to far in the wilds or wilderness lose their way. In Switzerland alone their is 1000 calls of hikers who has lost your way and when they were found some of them are injured due to little response time and, to reduce the response time when looking for these hiker to reduce the amount of hikers or anyone who is lost from getting injured tiny quadrocopter are designed to scene its way in and out of the wilderness to find and detect a living person and be able to find a person who lost their way this is a good piece of technology for any situation like looking for a lost dog or looking for a fugitive who ran in the woods. Even if the technology was only made for search and rescue it can be used for many other purposes. This technology is made to trace it way back and find people it may be a life saver in many way such as it can find missing people or do stack outs in stead of cops for the cops safety or guide cops in the woods to find some one. As technology grows so does its uses its a good thing Swindon scientist created this software now once again we can be assured of our safety.

Living machine 3

During the documentary I learned that in Tokyo they have created a humanoid project. Japan is the leader when it comes to building humanoid body. In Massachusetts their is a engineer that create the brains of the robots mind. The mind is the most important part in the robot because just like every living thing the brain create the ability to tell our body what do. Even though robots might have a mind and a body in the mere future fear of robots taking over the world is still there. Now engineers are trying to create a robot that take a beating and still get the job done, and create a robot that can act and react like a actual living organism. In a university in Spitsbergen a engineer I trying to create a robots that can think better then a human being. I think that a robot can and can not be a harm to human being because a robot can always help human beings and an robot can always harm one.For example if I was to create a robot to for the military the objective for the robot is to go in and win the war so none of our soldiers will have to die in battle again that's one way a robot can help and harm a human being or if i create a robot to help the elderly. I think robot should just stay robots even though it might be cool to have a humanoid and a friend or at home because if we as people have the power to create a robot to do what ever we want then we also have to power to misuse that power like money we can spent it on our needs or our wants. How is going to stop someone from creating a robot to rob a bank or kill the president if we find a way to create a humanoid then that way will some how be misused. In case many people haven't notice if you give a group of people the power over or of something the majority of them misuses the power and only a few uses it for or the greater good, their for I think robots should just stay robots

Living Machine 2

During the documentary I've learned that the U.S and Japan are competing among each other and are creating the came robot and trying to make each robot better then each other the reason for this is cause money is involved. I've also learned that In the military there are robots that are also created to search for hostel situations there's also drowns spy plane that gains information about the battle field along with missiles. missiles are also considered as robots and there very intelligent they can change course during flight and stay roof top level and still find their target. Saga is also a arcade that makes you feel like your in the game they feel your movement and feeling. There are also robots like the creep keeper which is nothing but plastic stretch out over a robotic body and is being controlled by an another robotic technique in this case of set of the movie there is a man who uses a helmet and gloves to control the movement of the robotic puppet so basically all the puppet is doing is mirroring the movement of the man in the outfit and the voice comes from the software. though the generation man kind have been trying to find a was to create an artificial human being using technology and every generation the thought of artificial being gets stronger and stronger cause as the knowledge of technology grows we get closer to finding a way to create an artificial being. I think the fear or the thought of and artificial being has not been decided  because the world is not ready to have robots gain control base on the fear of what a robot can or might do to us.

During the documentary I've learned that we've be finding ways to copy living thing and making robots  to not only act like the creature they're duplicated to but to behave like them. For instance an ant communicates with other ants when they need help or they found food.A robotic engineer found a way to create multiple robots to act and communicate like ants.Robotic engineers are getting closer and closer to making robots that actually act like living thing such as another engineer who created a robotic baby who can feel and react to what your doing to it if you shack it feed it and hold it up side down it knows. In another robotic lab engineers created aquatic animals like fish to copy and create and create water proof robots t o help in underwater task like if to were in the military  and there are water mine there will be robot there to sacrifice them-self first to reduce the death of soldiers. or when your a studying aquatic life you can send a robot to record and study how the aquatic animal acts and live. There's also a engineer who is trying to bring back dinosaurs using the technology he already know how to make like duplicating and making robots walk and also making them acting like other living things.
